Growing Oshkosh Partnership with Oshkosh Recreation Department
This year, GO will be continuing their partnership with the Oshkosh Recreation Department to offer a variety of classes and camps. Look below for an overview of the offerings, but please keep in mind participants must register through the Oshkosh Recreation Department to take part in these programs. Urban Garden Experience Camp
-Late July/Early August
Students will experience the different facets of Growing Oshkosh's Urban Farm. Topics will include basic gardening skills, composting, aquaponics, nutrition and cooking, and container gardening. Each day the students will get to prepare a tasty snack from fresh vegetables.
GO Gardening!
-August
Join the staff of Growing Oshkosh and learn about all the fun that lies within our school gardens! Students will assist in watering, harvesting, and general care of the gardens while learning about various science topics.
Fall Harvest in the Gardens
-September/October
Join the stafff of Growing Oshkosh and learn all about the various fruits and veggies in our school gardens and how they grow. Students will be given an opportunity to care for, taste, and harvest these delicious foods. Please note: There is a mistake in the Rec Department brocure, classes are by Grade NOT Age.

Student & Family Programs and Workshops
We offer a variety of workshops and programs that aim to get students learning about food and farming in a hands-on environment.
